Who is banskt?

banskt's real name is Saikat Banerjee. And that's me. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Kolkata. In the good ol' days, I used to be a topper at school, college and univ. Presently, I am a research scholar at IISc. I promote myself as a research scholar / graphic designer. You must be wondering how a research scholar jaywalked into the field of graphic designing. Long story short, I have 8 years formal training in fine arts. The rest was hard work, online courses and passion. And that shows, I am passionate with graphic design - very much so.

Well, I do a lot of things. Once you enter my room, you will get a glimpse of my varied interests. But here are some things that I thought may interest you.

    I design logos and help in consistent branding across the board in all design areas (business cards, letterhead, envelopes, websites, etc.)

  • Graphic Design

    Publications, Brochures, Posters, Signs, Advertisements, Image manipulations, and other print designs

  • Web Design & Development

    Yes, I can design your website. I have experience in front-end design, XHTML, CSS & PHP development (w3c standards), open–source CMS like Wordpress, Joomla.
